LAPIS AT PAPEL

Kung itatanong mo kung gaano kita kamahal,
Sasabihin ko sayo…
Tulad ng pagsasama ng lapis at papel;
Mula doon ay magsisimula an gating daigdig,
Ang buhay na pagsasamahan natin,
 Habang kaya ka pang sumulat
At hanggat may espasyo pa ako
Sa mapag-aruga mong papel...
Ngayon, at kung sakaling magasawa ka na…
At ayaw mo na akong makasama,
Huwag kang mag-alala.
Dahan-dahan kitang itutupi
Upang maging isang eroplanong papel.
 At muling ialok sa’yo ang mundong binuo ko;
Iaayos ko at papantayin ang mga tupi
At nalukot mong bahagi noong eroplano ka pa.
Ibabalik kita bilang isang papel
 Gaano kita kamahal.
 Huwag nagyon, masaya tayong magkasama.

I got this from Ms. Sarah Kaye Mariano. This was given to her by her ex-boyfriend and was given to me and my female classmates as a graduation remembrance way back in high school.

My first ex. I gave him the copy when we broke-up. Thinking that he would be my first and last. Until now, I am still after that crazy idea.

L0okiNg f0r thE thiNg cALLEd "HAPPINESS"

Unang araw ng "bakasyon" after graduation. Ano nga ba ang pakiramdam?

Teka typo-error ata.. Hindi pala bakasyon kinabukasan kasi may trabaho nga pala ako..

First day na wala na akong project na gagawin ng rush.

Rush-Tip0ng bukas na yung pasahan o kaya mamaya na tapos iba-browse pa lang or ise-search pa lang sabay may recitation pla sa Immigration Law at checking ng requirements sa practicum.. Hai..

My fav0rite verSes from the Holy Bible

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

-1 Cor. 13:4-8

If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.

- 1 John 3:20-22 (New International Version)

ABFS Seniors visit the Malacanan Palace

The senior students of the AB Foreign Service program finally got the chance to visit the Malacanan Palace on November 19, 2009. The visit is supposedly a part of their Diplomatic-Consular Practice and Orientation subject in the previous semester.

The whole group, together with their program coordinator, Prof Noe L. Pobadora and two other professors namely Prof. Irwin Blanco and Prof. Fame Pascua took part in that much awaited visit.

While waiting for the arrival of the President, Her Excellency Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, delightful refreshments were served to them at the Heroes Hall. Upon the arrival of PGMA, the seniors were given the opportunity to meet the president upclose and to shakehands with her. They were also lucky enough to take shots with PGMA. General Hermogenes Esperon, the head of the Presidential Management Staffs (PMS) was also present during the visit.

Aside from the privilege of meeting PGMA and other government officials, they were able to tour around the Malacanan Museum situated at the Kalayaan Hall which was the Old Executive Building located at the heart of the Malacanan Palace complex.

Their tour around the Malacanan Museum is the most exciting cultural trek to the past even without riding a fictional “time machine.” Despite the interesting and intellectually satisfying visit though, it only took them about an hour and a half to tour that cultural and historic repository showcasing the rich heritage of the Palace and the Presidency of the Philippines.

The seniors insatiable pursuit for discovery has catalyzed the impetus to explore in greater measure the Malacanan Palace and eventually, to meet the country's highest ranking official.
